Innsbruck football weekend: first home win and first part of the winter break
INNSBRUCK. In the last home game, Generali Union Innsbruck achieved their first home win. From the regional league downwards, the teams are in the winter break. Innsbruck’s soccer ladies continue to be sensational.
Regional league
Reichen wins, SVI with a draw, FC Wacker Innsbruck II with a defeat – that’s the tt.com Regionalliga Tirol’s record. SVG Reichenau defeated SV Telfs on their own course thanks to Philipp Thurnbichler’s double with 2-0. In the Wiesengasse, the SVI conquered a point with the 1-1 draw thanks to Julis Heimpel’s goal scorer against SC Imst. FC Wacker Innsbruck have to admit defeat 1: 3 in Wörgl after taking the lead from Rio Nitta. In the table, SVG Reichenau is in fourth place with 23 points, with connections from FC Wacker Innsbruck II with 22 points. The SVI is at the bottom of the table with 7 points. In the next round, Reichenau will play away in Kufstein, SVI in Wattens and FC Wacker in Kitzbühel.
First home win
In the last home game of the autumn season of the Hypo Tirol League, Generali Union Innsbruck achieved their first victory on the Fenner. With 5: 2 the FC Zirl is forced. After a 2-0 deficit, Stefan Milenkovic and Marko Stokic meet, Alireza Karimi scores a hat trick. The Union overtakes the Zirler in the table and is on a non-relegation place. Winter break
The SPG Innsbruck West says goodbye with a 1: 4 defeat in Absam during the winter break. Niklas Kienreich scored the goal. With 9 points, the SPG is in 13th place in the table. In the district league West there was a 0-2 home defeat for the Veldidena against Schwaz in the last autumn round. Wacker III had to admit defeat 1: 5 (goalscorer: Denis Veskovic) in the Lechtal. SK Wilten won 2-1 in Imst, goalscorers were Matthias Einsle-Weiss and Daniel Klaiber. In the table, FC Wacker Innsbruck II winters in 7th place with 17 points, SK Wilten in 11th place with 13 points and FC Veldidena in 13th place with 6 points.
Women’s Tyrol League
In the Frauen Tirol Liga, the SVI women remain the measure of all things. Eighth game, eighth win. This time a 4-0 home win against Vomp. Anna Innerhuber, Kathrin Bühler, Nina Huter and Marika Rietzler meet for the Innsbruck women. The SK Wilten women continue their strong performances with a 3-2 away win against SPG FC Stubai / Matrei. Rita Gebert, Antonia Schirner and Laura Faiss meet for the Wilten women. The SVI women hibernated as unbeaten leaders with 24 points and +41 goals. The SK Wilten women follow in second place with 19 points and +17 goals.
