The Prince’s Government has made available a StoryMap dedicated to biodiversity on the website youremonaco.mc. This educational and fun initiative in favor of the environment is presented at the StoryMap ESRI France 2021 competition.
The wonders of the fauna and flora of Monaco
Wall lizards hide in the crevices of the Chemin des Pêcheurs, while a couple of peregrine falcons have taken up residence in the cliffs of the Port of Fontvieille. Snorkeling enthusiast? You will not come across a brown grouper or a spotted seahorse near the Roches Saint-Nicolas… Explore the StoryMap dedicated to Monegasque biodiversity to discover everything about its unsuspected inhabitants!
This commendable initiative is part of the Prince’s Government’s desire to raise public awareness of environmental protection. It is by watching over our threatened Mediterranean Treasures that we will always be able to observe all the birds, fish and corals in the heart of the Principality.
