In the last 11 years, 330,000 flats have been completed in the Czech Republic. Most were built in Stedoeskm county, where the construction of family houses prevails. Darkly half of all apartments in apartment buildings were then completed in Prague.
During 2010 and 2020, 330,000 new flats were completed, of which more than 55% in family houses and thus 30% in apartment houses. On average, but most of all, family houses were built in Prague. Over the years, investment costs for construction have been steadily increasing. In 2020, there was an average investment of 3.75 million CZK per family house, and 6.2 million CZK in Prague. On the other hand, the size of the house gradually changed. Since 2010, the average enclosure space has fallen from 771 m3 at 759 m3 living area of 95 m2 at 91 m2. There are known differences between individual regions. At least family houses were completed in Karlovy Vary region, the smallest houses were built in Plzeskm AND Moravian-Silesian Region, to Silvia Lukavcov from the Department of Construction and Apartments of Construction S.
Family houses are most often available 4 + 1. Decrease in construction time, in 2020 it was about three years. Currently, therefore, B energy intensities prevail, and this share has been growing sharply in recent years. Family houses have load-bearing structures in the vast majority of masonry materials, but in recent years it is possible to observe an increased interest in wooden buildings.
Most flats in apartment buildings were completed in Prague. Compared to other regions, Prague is notable for the fact that, as in the only region, flats in apartment buildings predominate. The largest flats were built on average in Karlovy Vary region, where even the largest investment costs were spent on one apartment.
Flats in apartment buildings are mainly 2 + 1. The construction time of an apartment building ranges from a few msc to more than ten years. The most frequent vertical load-bearing structure is brick, in all cities there are more prefabricated structures. On the contrary, according to nine buildings, it is not in the case of family houses and the situation is better in smaller villages. In the category of apartment buildings, houses with energy class B predominate, and the trend has been growing in recent years, similarly to the case of family houses.
