Oldenburg (dpa / lni) – For students, professors and lecturers, everyday university life is starting again at many universities in Lower Saxony. Instead of digital and online, most of the seminars and lectures will take place face-to-face again. The official start of the semester was October 1st. Sometimes – as at the TU Braunschweig or the University of Göttingen – the lectures don’t start until a week later, on October 25th.
Due to the corona, there are clear guidelines in many places. At Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH), the 3G rule (vaccinated-recovered-tested) also applies to everyone who enters the university building. The university warns: “Entering the LUH building without legitimation via a negative, official test result, vaccination or recovery certificate is legally a trespass and may be prosecuted.”
