Computer Exam | Globo’s streaming platform arrives in Portugal
Globo announced that the Globoplay platform is now available in the national market. After Brazil and the USA, the platform arrives in Portugal at the same time as 15 countries in Europe. For a monthly fee of €8.99, Portuguese consumers will have access to on-demand content, in addition to the transmission of seven live channels: Globo Internacional, Multishow, GloboNews, GNT, VIVA and two sports channels. The platform is available on smart TV, smartphone, tablet or computer.
The press release highlights the richness of the menu available: 1000 titles, 30 exclusive original content, 20 thousand hours of soap operas, 170 entertainment programs, 200 series and 3500 hours of sports.
The launch event was held online, with the introduction of actresses Taís Araújo and Ana Hikari and the presence of Carolina Andrade, responsible for Globo’s Global Distribution, and João Ribeiro, Globo’s Creative Team Manager. “Globoplay is an exciting experience streaming platform. We want to provide the public with quality information and entertainment. Our strategy continues to invest and produce more and more original products and offer a mix of balanced offer and design”, said this executive.
One of the great assets of this platform is the Big Brother Brazil, whose premiere is scheduled for January 2022. The reality show will be presented by Tadeu Schmidt, who presented Fantastic for 14 years.
