Innsbruck (dpa / lby) – After a general refurbishment costing 16.8 million euros, Innsbruck Airport reopened this Tuesday. It had been closed to work since September 20th. Now normal operations are starting again, as airport director Patrick Dierich said on Monday.
Some of the runway was over 60 years old. According to the information, an area of 140,000 square meters was renovated in four weeks. In addition to the 2000 meter long runway, parts of the taxiways were also renewed.
