THE RESULTS OF THE 6th DAY OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF EXCELLENCE GROUP CE THE NEW RANKING

CHRONICLE AND COMMENT
After four matches of Excellence and two of the Italian Cup, Victor San Marino loses the unbeaten run in his seventh football challenge of the season. Cava Ronco, in fact, won the Acquaviva Stadium 2-0 in the match of the sixth day of the Italian championship of Excellence thanks to goals from Boschi and Lombardi arrived in the second half.

Mister D’Amore, compared to the starting formation lined up in the championship match won against Diegaro, must renounce the disqualified Pedrazzini and deployed from 1 ‘Rosti and Mannarino in defense as well as Prandelli in attack. Everything else remains unchanged. The new white-blue Voinea starts from the bench.

The match begins and Victor San Marino has no qualms about attacking the red and white fort: on the 8th minute Zabre’s powerful right from distance, just out of the way with the goalkeeper beaten.

With the passing of the minutes, however, there is not the slightest sign of reaction from Victor San Marino; the Cava Ronco, for its part, is more decisive and concrete in the second half, so much so that it doubles at 30 ‘: a low cross by Corzani and a platter of Lombardi that Pazzini slips. Cava Ronco is now winning 2-0 and, consequently, hopes are almost at a minimum for captain Barone and his teammates to win at least one point against their opponents.

A little later, within 10 minutes, Gaudenzi and Prandelli tried to play the charge, but their positive results from distance had no effect for the San Marino players: ball over the crossbar in both circumstances.

After four minutes of recovery, the match ends at the Acquaviva Stadium: due to the 2-0 defeat against Cava Ronco, Victor San Marino falls for the first time in the Italian championship of Excellence and now stands, with 8 points so far collected and one game less, at -10 from Fya Riccione leaders of group C Emilia Romagna.

However, there is no time to beat down for Victor San Marino for this unexpected knockout: Wednesday 20 October, at 20.30, there is in fact the third round of the Italian Excellence and Promotion Cup to be played against Tropical Coriano at the “Daniele Grandi” stadium in Coriano. Whoever wins this match will move forward in this football competition. For the men of Mr. D’Amore it is a perfect opportunity to get up immediately and return to give immense joys to their fans.
