Naples, Spanish Quarters: 34 uninsured motorcycles seized and parked wild
Naples, 17 October 2021 – Dozens of mopeds without insurance and in wild parking seized, removal of chains and concrete blocks illegally placed by merchants on the street to ensure space for customers. Representing, together with some complaints and reports, of the operation in the Spanish Quarters by the Carabinieri of the Centro company to ensure a ‘safe nightlife’.
It is precisely on the wild stop that the military has focused their attention: 34 between scooters and motorcycles, all without insurance coverage, were seized and loaded on the tow truck because they were parked without any criteria in the alleys of the neighborhoods or in front of the doors of some condominiums, making it difficult for residents to enter.
The military then have removed stakes, chains and concrete blocks illegally in front of some commercial positions.
In total, 120 people were identified, 52 vehicles passed through a sieve, on the move and parked.
There was no lack of complaints. A local 30-year-old with a clean record was sued for resistance and outrage. He was driving along vico Canale in Taverna Penta when the carabinieri stopped and checked him. He refused to give his personal details and then insulted the military.

A 45-year-old under special surveillance was found outside his home, despite the measure requiring him to stay at home. A criminal complaint for him too. A 19 year old subjected to house arrest he was reported to the judicial authorities because he was hosting people outside the family at home without any authorization.

Finally, two were reported unauthorized parking attendants, both already recipients of the measure of the prohibition of access to the urban center of Naples.
A budget in which 4 people between 20 and 30 years of age must also be considered, reported to the Prefecture for drug use.
