The highlight is a concert by the internationally acclaimed violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter with the Ensemble Mutter’s Virtuosi in the Alte Oper . The world star from Baden will inspire you: with Vivaldi, Mozart and “Gran Cadenza”. The new work by the South Korean composer Unsuk Chin – a virtuoso duo for two violins – was commissioned by Anne-Sophie Mutter. Mutter’s Virtuosi is recruited from scholarship holders from Mutters Foundation for the promotion of young talent.
You can also enjoy the exhibition “Call me Rembrandt!” fascinate in the Stdel Museum. Around 140 paintings, prints and drawings, some by Rembrandt’s contemporaries, trace the Dutchman’s rise to one of the green artists of the 17th century. On a city tour you will experience Frankfurt’s spectacular skyline, the sights, the Dom-Rmer-Quartier and the charming Sachsenhausen nightlife district.
