Brazen sneak thieves and burglars began various crimes in Liechtenstein on Sunday night. The state police assume the same perpetrators in all cases. In the event of a creeping theft in a house in Vaduz, the perpetrators switched off all fuses in the fuse box. The house sank in the dark.
When the house owner noticed the power failure on Sunday at around 2.30 a.m., she met a perpetrator in the house, as the state police announced. This fled. The pensioner later noticed that the cash and credit card had disappeared from her wallet. Erroneously assuming that she should not call the police at this time, the woman did not sound the alarm that night.
Police assume the same perpetrators
At around 4.45 a.m., several men were working on a house in Schaan. A resident noticed this, looked out the window and called the police. The perpetrators then fled without having achieved anything. A search for them was unsuccessful.
In Gapetsch, thieves then sneaked into a garage. There they stole a wallet with cash and credit cards and a laptop from the car.
