Arqus – Lyon is organizing the training program “Doctorales – A fresh look at the challenges of innovation”
From September 27 to 29, the University of Lyon is organizing in Clermont-Ferrand the doctoral training program – A fresh perspective on the challenges of innovation. 20 doctoral students from Arqus universities in Granada, Graz, Lyon, Padua and Vilnius are participating as well as 30 other doctoral students from other universities.
Doctoral studies aim to bring together doctoral students and local socio-economic organizations by offering a practical training program where multidisciplinary teams of doctoral students can take a fresh look at the challenges faced by organizations (companies, authorities, associations, etc.). These can be technological, strategic, organizational, marketing, usage, development and international challenges. Over the years, the programs organized by the University of Lyon have enabled 180 doctoral students and supported 25 organizations. This year’s edition, with the participation of Arqus doctoral students, will be the first with an international perspective.
Indeed, the Doctoriales have a double objective:
- Enable doctoral students to tackle the complexity of different professional sectors and strengthen their adaptability and their ability to respond to operational issues.
- Bring original added value to organizations with innovative operational projects or real strategic challenges and develop a better understanding of the skills of doctoral students.
