The name and concept change but the address remains the same: at 22, rue Jean Palaprat. It is in this district in the heart of Toulouse, in the Saint Aubin sector, that Minh Tung Nguyen and two other partners have opened. Le Petit Palaprat instead of Be / For. The establishment welcomed its first customers on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

After buying the business in 2019, we opened Be / For, an Asian tapas bar. And then the covid crisis happened there. We took advantage of these months of closure to reimburse our concept with a view to reaching a wider clientele. The idea was really to create a more convivial place, conducive to meetings. ”

Restaurant for lunch and tapas bar for dinner

From this desire was born the Small Palaprat, a bar-restaurant where two very distinct spaces come together:

  • A restaurant area with 22 seats in the front, for lunch service only. Here, the chef offers a varied and mixed cuisine. On Mondays, you go around the world on your plate “and the rest of the week we work in honor of French cuisine, especially that of the southwest. »For the dish of the day alone, count between € 8 and € 11. For a starter + main course or main course + dessert table between € 11 and € 13, and for the full menu, between € 13 and € 15. Note that wine is served by the glass.
  • A bar-counter area musical atmosphere in the evening in the background. The three Toulouse associates have designed the premises in a futuristic spirit. For the evening service, the chef treats gourmet tapas: cold cuts, croquetas, garlic shrimps, roasted cheeses… Count between € 4 and € 13.50 for the tapas ration.
