Tondela shakes in Madeira but remains in the Portuguese Cup
ANAfter two weeks of stoppage in the I League, Tondela made their debut in the competition against Camacha and had no easier life before the fifth-placed Serie A of the Portuguese Championship, who eliminated FC Santa Marta (0-3) and the Ribeirão 1968 FC (6-1) in the previous qualifiers.
Tondelans opened the scoring after just four minutes, in a move that left the goalkeeper insular in the photograph. Following a corner, Framelin held the ball at first, but let it slip away, being at the mercy of Manu who threw the count.
The response of the team from Fazirense, which last approved a prime-divisional in 2007 for the Cup of Portugal (Sporting de Braga 2-3), was immediate, with Kenny serving Gabriel Fraga, who redeemed the tie two minutes later, with a result that formations withdrew for intermission.
The game followed the same tone in the second half, but despite the high possibilities for the two teams, they missed and in the last third, with a note for Camacha, who fought on equal terms until the last minute of the match.
In added time, the referee signaled an indirect free kick at the entrance of the small area in favor of the visitors, after the Camacha goalkeeper, following a defense placed the ball on the ground and holding it again.
Salvador Agra assumed the responsibility of facing, at such a short distance, practically the entire opposing team on the goal line, finding one of the few spaces, stamping the passage to the fourth round in the Portuguese Cup.
