It is an original fall rendezvous. Sunday, October 17, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., nature will take over the Place du Capitole. Green hands confirmed or beginners looking for advice, everyone will find in this 1before edition of “Plant Capitol”, organized by the town hall of Toulouse, enough to satisfy his curiosity. On the program: professional advice, sale of flowers, artistic demonstrations … Highlight of this event: the composition on the place of a large plant work. # 2. Last rounds of the merry-go-round at the Saint-Michel festival
Last laps of the track, this weekend, for the Saint-Michel funfair installed for almost a month in the parking lot of the Zenith From toulouse. # 4. New edition of the Lights on the Quay
This Saturday, October 16 marks the start of the 7e edition of Lights on the quay with the theme: “Reinventing our links”. The festival, which skillfully combines art and science, is held until Sunday, November 7 at Knowledge platform. On the program: strolls, meetings, workshops, exhibitions… During these three weeks, the organizers will once again promote exchanges and meetings where the general public, artists, scientists, entrepreneurs and authors meet around major themes. At the opening, this Saturday at 11 a.m., it’s the sociologist Jean Viard – specialist in social time, politics and regional planning – who will come to share with the public his vision of society and desirable futures. # 5. Off the beaten track
To get off the beaten track, what better way than to (re) discover the Pink City with a guide. The editorial team offers you two unusual visits to do this Saturday, October 17. For the first, direction the entrance to the Saint-Sernin basilica (rue du Taur side) at 2:30 p.m. This is where a magician’s guide will be waiting for you to help you discover the main places in the history of magic in Toulouse : museum of old Toulouse, arcades and Capitole theater as well as Robert-Houdin’s objects at the Paul Dupuy museum.
