Reconstruction of the Kraków Płaszów railway station is progressing. Travelers can now use the new platforms.

From October, October at the Płaszów station, an alternative from two new platforms. Train traffic was introduced to new tracks. Modern control devices are used.

The two new 400-meter long platforms are bigger and bigger. Long lights and bright lighting were installed. There is legible signage and boards with the timetable. Do the platforms lead under the aisle. In the coming weeks, access to the trains to facilitate the windy. New visual information systems will be included.

At the station, along with the service of the station on platforms, the tracks, the traction system and the railway traffic control system have changed. It was necessary, what was needed trains from the side of Main Rzeszów. The new Local Control Center was based on two control rooms. Modern computer control systems are the next ones in traffic management.

Further works in Płaszów and Bieżanów

Moving traffic to new tracks, next works, next works on the eastern side of Płaszów. At the Kraków Bieżanów station, contractors have started rebuilding the tracks towards Wieliczka. The wide scope of works required changes in the organization of train traffic.
