Antwerp is leader of above Zulte Waregem rising from the dead
As good Antwerp the international break, so bad it came out again. De Grote Oude went 2-1 into the boat on Saturday evening at Zulte Waregem, which is in crisis. The first company was however entirely for the visitors, who traded through Benson. The hard core of Essevee set up a protest against Dury, but who eventually rests at the longest end with a nice remonte from his team.

Four substitutions at Antwerp, no less than six at Zulte Waregem. Both teams started the match with anything but the same basic formations as in their latest game before the international break. Dury other other gear and to include in. Essevee propose 1 on 12, and plan on the previous match day with heavy 5-1 with PhD student Seraing. Antwerp put a 15 out of 15 against that. Yusuf replaced the slightly injured Nainggolan. Priske also bathed in luxury. In this way he was able to deploy the returning Balikwisha.
Divided Essevee fans
Antwerp monopolized the ball against the ailing Zulte Waregem, which camped in its own half for almost the entire first half. Yet the visitors found the space. Yusuf kicked over, Balikwisha in the turn wide. After fifteen minutes, the hard core of the home team appeared behind Bossut’s goal. A protest to demand the resignation of Dury, which also saw flares and smoke bombs flew on the field.
Confidence at Essevee plummeted even more now, especially when Benson cut himself free and hit with a wonderful place ball. Banners related to ‘Dury outside’ and ‘Keep the credit to yourself’ were unfurled. Before the kick-off, the messages ‘From hero to zero’ and ‘Stop the hostage situation’ could also be read. It prompted the Antwerp visitors’ section to support Dury, a gesture that was once again appreciated by many home supporters. Proof that the division among the Essevee fans is great.
Meanwhile, the match continued, and Buta had to give up the fight. The Portuguese came down badly after a free kick, even though there was no viewed contact involved. After the 0-1, the Antwerpers are the wrong choice a few more times. When at the stroke of rust Srarfi was given space to break out, he hesitated too long to play in. Symptomatic of the form crisis in him and his teammates. A switch halfway through was his share.
Antwerp check after rust
In the beginning of the second act we saw the same play, and Frey missed the chance to decide the game. Pleitinckx defended the Golden Bull from a thirteenth goal. Zulte Waregem was still alive, and actually took the initiative. Gano first headed for Butez. When the same Gano trumped Frey on a corner, the Antwerp goalkeeper was beaten. The equalizer didn’t stop there, because Kutesa completed the turnaround after a fantastic counter. Just before that, Vossen had also hit the bar with a volley.
Priske didn’t believe what he saw, and intervened by dropping Miyoshi and Haroun into the squad. Bossut shot the latter with a good long shot. Yet it was mainly Zulte Waregem that still went looking for a third goal. Vossen aimed twice at Butez, Gano hit the outside of the post. It remained at five consecutive rivals 2-1. Dury, who was sung to loud, scores three important points with his men.
