And if the company La Machine also set up in the Tarn ? After Toulouse, his Machine Hall and his minotaur, François Delarozière’s teams are working on a project, Aussillon, near Mazamet.
Feasibility studies in progress
The founder and director of the Machine Company indeed visited the town on October 6 and 7, 2021 to launch definition and feasibility studies around a project that would be held around theBradford-Gare space.
During his visit, François Delarozière met actors from the cultural world, but also entrepreneurs and visited factories. He also went to discover the textile museum of Labastide-Rouairoux.
A new giant machine? Smaller animals?
Any ideas looking for La Machine creatives for this Bradford-Gare space? A new giant machine like the Minotaur of Toulouse, the dragon of Calais or the elephant of Nantes? Or a smaller-scale project, like the one developed at La Roche-sur-Yon, where a dozen steel animals can be handled and accessible to the public on the largest square in the town center of the town?
We will have to wait a bit to find out more. On its website, the town hall of Aussillon indicates that the creator of La Machine could present a “project within three to four months”.
