Toulouse: the Lumières sur le Quai festival back from October 16 to November 17
For the second consecutive year, the Lumières sur le Quai festival at the Quai des Savoirs in Toulouse will take place over three weeks. From October 16 to November 17, the meeting proposes to meet around a theme: “regain control over our futures”.
Festival unique in form and substance, Lumières sur le Quai offers three weeks of reflection on a theme and mixes arts and sciences. This year, the Quai des Savoirs is focusing its scientific, artistic and popular festival on the theme: reinventing our links. Whether they have been severed or reinforced by the pandemic, whether they are shown to be saving or effective, even dangerous, these links have been profoundly modified and must be collectively reinvented.
Lumières sur le Quai will promote exchanges and meetings, bring together the general public, artists, scientists, entrepreneurs and authors. It highlights initiatives, research, citizen experiments, innovations, artistic creations, to build other stories of the future. Punctuated by four weekends which constitute so many highlights, the festival will have four thousand ideas and initiatives with all those who imagine more desirable futures through their research, their creations and their experiments.
