San Marino towards participation in COP 26 “Let’s fight climate change together”
San Marino will participate in COP 26, the largest international summit that will bring together over 30,000 delegates including heads of state, government representatives, businesses, climate experts and activists to agree on a coordinating action plan to tackle climate change. The summit, which will take place in Glasgow in the United Kingdom from 31 October to 12 November next, is of an extraordinary and urgent nature; it is a decisive event in the fight against climate change, which has now become a global priority, a challenge we all face to save the environment in which we live.
“To better prepare – explain from the Territory Secretariat – participation in the appointment and to identify and share the strategies and actions that the Republic of San Marino intends to promote during the conference, Secretary of State Stefano Canti, as coordinator , convened the table for sustainable development next Tuesday at 9 “in the ‘Sala Congresso’ of Palazzo Begni.
Convocation useful for elaborating proposals for the achievement of Objective 13 targets: “promoting actions – concludes the Secretariat – at all levels, to combat climate change”.
