Nuremberg loses in overtime – Augsburg annoys Primus Munich
The coach was changed in Nuremberg, under the new coach Tom Rowe the Ice Tigers lost their home game against the Krefeld Pinguine in overtime. The Cologne got a rub against Straubing – league leaders Munich stumbled in Augsburg.

Munich suffered a setback in the DEL two days after reaching the last sixteen in the Champions League. Without nine injured, frequent or paused players, coach Don Jackson’s team lost 4: 5 (1: 1, 3: 2, 0: 1) to the Augsburg Panthers on Friday evening after extra time.
Munich had initially turned a 1: 3 deficit in the meantime. After a match penalty against Augsburg’s Scott Valentine, the EHC turned a 2: 3 into a 4: 3 lead with two overpowering hits. After Magnus Eisenmenger equalized (45th minute), Vincent Saponari (62nd) became the match winner for Augsburg in overtime. With a convincing 6: 1 at the Swiss ice hockey champions EV Zug, the Munich team had only made the knockout round in the Champions League perfect on Wednesday.
Nuremberg’s new coach Rowe is denied the opening win
The Nürnberg Ice Tigers continued their negative series in the first game under the responsibility of the former NHL coach Tom Rowe with the 2: 3 (0: 2, 1: 0, 1: 1) after extra time against the Krefeld Penguins. After only 24 of the extra time, Franks die the decisive goal from Krefeld’s Lucas Lessio.
Abrasion for the Haie against Straubing

Against the Iserlohn Roosters, the promoted team held its ground 3: 2 (3: 0, 0: 1, 0: 1) thanks to a strong first period, although goalkeeper Sami Aittokallio had to go off the ice at the beginning of the second period due to an injury.
