Monaco fall again, against Barcelona in extra time
Second defeat in a row for Monaco, narrowly beaten by Barça on Friday after having already been defeated at Real Madrid in the middle of the week.

Monaco lost in their room Gaston-Médecin in extra time against Barcelona (85-81), finalist last season and undefeated this season in the Euroleague, Friday, October 15.
Under the eyes of Prince Albert, Monaco stood up to a European cador, for this meeting of the 4th day. The Principality’s club only lost in extra time against a Barcelona formation which was very impressive defensively and better in the free throw sector (70% at 14/20 for Monaco, against 81.3% at 14/16 for Barcelona).

After a balanced start to the match, the Monegasques finished the first quarter with a bang. The Roca Team even led to the break (35-31).
Back from the locker room, Zvezdan Mitrovic’s men showed a slightly poorer defensive quality. Opposite, Barcelona did not let go and is ironed in front, thanks to its quality of three-point shots.
Monaco missed many free throws, allowing Barcelona to obtain an extension (75-75), during which the Catalans spoke about their experience.
The Monegasques conceded their second loss of the season, following the loss to Madrid on Wednesday. Next meeting next Friday, in Vitoria (Spain).
