In the footsteps of mushrooms and birds: weekend tours with the Zsuzsi train
Debrecen – It is possible to get to know the autumn treasures of the Hármashegy forest with the help of tour guides on Saturdays and Sundays.
The real autumn has arrived. Nature shows us a new face at this time, but it is not the trees and bushes that wear colorful clothing, but the species richness of the mushrooms can also be seen at this time of year. Their diversity, their special, mysterious world captivates people who love and respect nature.
It will be possible to get to know the autumn treasures of the Hármashegy forest, including the mushrooms, on the weekend of October 16-17, organized by the Zsuzsi Forest Railway. During the programs, professionals can get acquainted with the buttons in the Hármashegy forest, but it is possible to choose how to experiment with edible and measurable species or how to produce button presses.
On Saturday, October 16, the Zsuzsi Forest Railway equipped its passengers with two tours.
At 9:15, after the arrival of the train departing from the Ruyter Street departure station, those interested will be greeted by the mushroom inspector Edit Molnár in the lecture hall of the House of Nature. He will talk about mushroom knowledge lectures on fungal poisoning, grouping of measuring buttons, types of measurements and, of course, prevention of fungal poisoning. The lecture will only be able to be used in practice, as the participants will be able to embark on a mushroom knowledge tour led by Edit Molnár and Rudolf Molnár. For the program, which lasts until 3 p.m., it is advisable to dress in layers according to the weather conditions, and it is recommended to bring a cane basket and a mushroom knife to collect the mushrooms.
If you don’t want to spend the whole day in the woods, but want a meaningful outdoor recreation, nature teacher Edit Varga can also choose a trip to the Mushroom Mushroom Adventure on Saturday, which allows the small train to arrive from the House of Nature. The buttons will then focus on the one and a half hour forest tour. The tour guide will help you in which part of the forest, where and what mushrooms are lurking, which you will want to collect. At the end of the tour, the collected mushrooms will be inspected by a mushroom inspector Edit Molnár, so that only edible species will be on the home table.
On Sunday, October 17, Mushroom Inspector Edit Molnár will also be waiting for the passengers of Zsuzsi, who will take part in the mushroom knowledge lecture this time, and then they can join a forest tour in the footsteps of the button.
Those interested will also be greeted on Sunday by violinist István Imre and the favorites of Madársuli. Kids and adults will be able to put their skills and courage to the test to see if they are faster than a bird of prey. Among the students of Madársuli will be Henrietta, her shell, Ernő, the talking parrot, who recently gained national fame after her TV and radio appearances, but will also meet everyone’s favorite, Dwarf, the dwarf owls, who will certainly be happy to pose now. with the kids for a photo.
