The independent cultural center TriArte had to wait a while, but can use the iconic hall in all its glory again from the end of October. ‘A journey through dance’ will kick off on October 29. Three different dance companies take visitors on a journey through the dance world. Each company with its own specialization, but together they make a total story. It’s the turn of Saturday October 30th ‘Musical Memories’, the musical department of the Royal Ballet of Flanders.

Opera lovers will marvel at Sunday 31 October ‘in the opera house’, an opera and operetta gala. The Antwerp pop band ‘Liz and the Wise Men’ follows Monday with covers and own productions. Frans Depeuter brings with Baudouin le roi triste made the public laugh again on Tuesday with a catchy king’s story. ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’‘, an extensive theater show, entertains children from the age of 2 on 3 November. Then it’s the turn ‘The Bubble Queens’, the show queen group brings with Ivana, Selina Pearl & Boopsie a dazzling show as only they can. Disco hits, glitter, feathers and humor are the main ingredients.

November 5th, Jan Verheyen will be on stage with Wannes Van Mol and Sistaflex with the songs of ‘House of the Sun’, followed by Wally. Big name in the industry Marc Matthys brings the show on November 6 ‘Bach meets jazz’, where he enchants the audience in an original way behind his piano. That same day, Antwerp jazz group will be playing ‘Blue Gentiles’ on stage, who gets the audience dancing with their own songs and covers.

Triarte’s opening week is officially signed with a musical statement’Duarte concert‘. The well-known Duarte family put themselves on the map in 17th-century Antwerp by turning their living room into an international meeting place.
