Conny Felice new managing director of HOSI Salzburg
HOSI Salzburg announced a new managing director a few weeks ago, like Conny Felice, who was born in Salzburg, the agendas of the LGBTI human rights organization in October. In this position she succeeds Anton Cornelia Wittmann. Wittmann will specialize in (queer) sexual education.
After 30 years in the advertising and media industry, the main focus of Conny Felice’s work is mediation, coaching and training: She is a registered mediator and systemic conflict coach. In recent years she has worked in conflict and community work in municipal housing in Vienna, among other things.
A portfolio that fits in well with the organization: “The expertise of HOSI Salzburg is well received by many commercial enterprises,” she explains. This makes it possible to make the dimension of “sexual orientation and identity” – as the most tabooed aspect of diversity – visible in diversity management.
Felice will improve the cooperation with other institutions
In addition to the advisory areas of HOSI Salzburg for members of sexual minorities, Felice will focus her commitment on prevention work and on cooperation with institutions and companies.
To this end, HOSI’s own educational projects, in which Felice has been active for years, are to be strengthened: The “School of Diversity” project provides human rights-based educational work for young people and young adults. The “Diversity in Work” project is aimed primarily at institutions in the social and health sector.
In this way, HOSI Salzburg makes a valuable and sustainable contribution to a society free of discrimination and fear, as the human rights organization emphasizes in a broadcast.
