Bike School Naples: first cycling school in the city; free courses for disadvantaged young people
Born in Naples the first cycling school recognized by the Italian Cycling Federation. The Naples Bike School is managed by the amateur sports association Emmevi with Mario Fontana as a technical director who has been operating in the metropolitan area for ten years with experience in various sports disciplines, including the activities of Triathlon.
Housed in the Cercola Sports Center, the Naples Bike School is aimed at young people from five to sixteen years old, both females and males, who will be able to play question on two fields: the dirt one dedicated to mountain-bike activities and the athletics track for street activities. Children and adolescents are the protagonists of a multipurpose didactic-sports program having the opportunity to be involved also in the discipline of running. The program includes a formation starting from the basic notions. Those who have never been on the saddle are also welcomed: the school guarantees the essential starting activity for those who do not yet know how to pedal and keep their balance on two wheels.
