A man trying to rob a tobacco shop in the town of Fonsorbs, Fr Upper Garonne, near Toulouse, Tuesday October 12, 2021, without success.

He goes home

After the facts, the man quietly returned to his home. But his license plate was raised on the spot.

The soldiers then took out the helicopter to try to locate the vehicle… which was parked in front of the suspect’s home!

Arrested thirty minutes after the fact

The helicopter crew located the scene, located the various doors and entrances to the home and transmitted the information to the gendarmes on the ground. A well-connected investigation which allowed the arrest of the individual only half an hour after the attempted robbery by the gendarmes of Saint-Lys.
