Signal festival

• from Thursday the 14th to Sunday the 17th of October, various places in Prague

After a long pause, return to the streets of Prague Signal festival. This year’s theme is human coexistence with nature, the gradual overcoming of a pandemic and a healthier environment on planet Earth. The Signal Festival will just revive the streets of the Old Town, Holešovice and Karlín, presenting 15 art installations in public space and six in augmented reality.

International Day of Archeology in the Museum of the City of Prague

• Saturday, October 16, Ctěnice Chateau and the Golden Ring House

Museum of the City of Prague prepared an archeological program for the International Days in two places. Various workshops for young and old will take place in the Ctěnice Chateau, during which those interested will be able to look into the lives of our ancestors, become a medieval scribe, get acquainted with replicas of vessels, ornaments, tools and weapons or play games known in the Middle Ages. . The program also includes guided tours of the exhibition about the real Vinoř.

For a guided tour, you can also go to the House at the Golden Ring, formerly to the Prague IV exhibition in Prague. – a medieval town. It will introduce visitors to the richness of archaeological finds and interesting facts from the history of Prague in the 14th century.

Family tracking game through Prague

• Sunday, October 17, only registered teams will find out the place

On Sundays you can go with the children to tracking game, which we are preparing the House of Children and Youth Karlín Spectrum. Participants will look at the court of Charles IV. with the main goal to find and meet a sufficient number of habitats in the allotted time and reach the goal. Simpler variants of the game will take place in the time of 9–12 hours, the more demanding ones in the time of 14–18 hours.
