This is how the killings are described all over the world
All the major media in the world cover the dramatic events in Norway. Thursday morning has big media houses like CNN, BBC, Sky News, The guardian, Al Jazeera with several additional articles on the matter.
For the most part, they currently quote Norwegian media on testimonies and press conferences, but both Danish and Swedish media have moved to Kongsberg. Big newspapers like Aftonbladet and Expressen, covers the case on an ongoing basis.
UN chief shocked
UN Secretary-General António Guterres is among those who have a say in the matter.

Grief and compassion
On the night before Thursday, the police found out that the accused is a 37-year-old who is a Danish citizen, but lives in Kongsberg. It resonates in Denmark, where all the largest newspapers have several articles about cases.
Danish Ekstrabladet says the accused’s defender, Fredrik Neumann, that the accused is connected to Denmark through his mother who is Danish, and that he is affected by the situation.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen expresses sympathy for the victims and the relatives after the killings at Kongsberg on Wednesday evening.
– It is with great sadness that I have received the message about the terrible attack in Kongsberg. My thoughts and deepest sympathy go to the victims and their relatives, says Frederiksen in a statement reproduced on Twitter the profile of the Prime Minister’s Office.
In the UK, all the country’s newspapers cover the case. There are also news items about cases on TV.
Britain’s Ambassador to Norway, Richard Wood, expresses sympathy in one twitter message.

Norwegian police say they can not rule out that the attacks in Kongsberg are an act of terrorism.
Timeline for the incident at Kongsberg
18.13: The police are notified of an incident in a Coop store in Kongsberg.
18.28: Southeast police district tweets:
«Action is underway in Kongsberg center ifbm person observes with bow and arrow. Have shot after person with this. The audience is asked to stay indoors. The police do not have control over people ».
18.47: A man is arrested and sent to arrest in Drammen.19.24: Southeast police district tweets this:
“A perpetrator has been arrested. It’s a big event. The police will return with more information ».
19.54: VG reporter at PST is informed about the situation.
About 20.30: The police confirm that several are injured and several are dead.
They also state in a press briefing that Drammen Hospital and Ullevål Hospital are on standby. Kongsberg municipality has set up crisis staff to assist those I may need.

The accused is a 37-year-old man who is a Danish citizen and lives in Kongsberg, political politics, which goes out with the information «because there are many who can move on social media about possible perpetrators who can not be linked to the serious acts ».

The accused was arrested at Kongsberg 34 minutes after the police had received the first report of a strong incident at a Coop store. The perpetrator moved over a large area and there are several crime scenes.
