Serious traffic accident in Lofer – salzburg.ORF.at

Two car occupants were injured in a serious traffic accident on Loferer Strasse (Pinzgau) on Wednesday evening. The accident happened at the east portal of the Lärchberg tunnel.
The serious accident occurred around 8 p.m.: A 36-year German war on the B178 in the direction of Waidring. Shortly before a construction site facility, the car driver wanted to turn around. In doing so, she overlooked the following vehicle belonging to a 42-year-old Upper Austrian.
German car driver seriously injured
This can not brake in time and crashed into the left side of the car of the German. The woman was seriously injured in the impact. After receiving first aid from an emergency doctor, the ambulance took her to the Salzburg University Hospital.
The Upper Austrian was brought to the St. Johann hospital in Tyrol for a check-up with minor injuries. There was considerable property damage to both vehicles. More than 50 firefighters were busy with the clean-up work – after an hour the route could be opened to traffic again.
