On October 27 at 20.00 on STS one of the most famous extreme shows in the world – “Russian Ninja” – with hosts Morgenstern, Ida Galich and Vasily Artemiev will start.
For the popular rapper and showman Morgenstern, the new show was his debut as a TV presenter, and for the famous blogger and presenter Ida Galich, the first extreme sports project.
More than two hundred participants from all over Russia who have passed a large-scale casting will compete for the title of the strongest hero of the project. Including the daredevils were both the European champion in artistic gymnastics Mikhail Khudchenko and the sports blogger Alexei Stolyarov, as well as representatives of completely different spheres and professions: a mother on maternity leave, a massage therapist, an accountant, a dentist, a programmer, a secretary, a firefighter and other heroes.
Vasily Artemiev, host of the show, former captain of the Russian national rugby team: “All our participants have completely different backgrounds, so it was very interesting for me to watch them. In general, over the past twenty-odd years, a whole cult of people has developed in the world who train specifically for passing similar tracks. And this is a difficult test even for rugby players – athletes with good training. ”
The filming of the new show took place in the Olympic Park near the Fisht stadium, where the Belgian technical team, despite the downpour, assembled the most difficult track brought from Belgium. The participants had to go through four difficult stages. The highest set and the final test was the 23-meter structure – Mount Midoriyama, which was previously conquered by only six people in the world.
“Russian Ninja” is the Russian version of the world famous show Ninja Warrior, which has been shown for 24 years in 18 countries.
