15.10. – The Prague City Hall will buy land near Běchovice for about 109.5 million crowns. A so-called green belt and a noise barrier will be built on them at the future section of the Prague ring road, designated 511 between the D1 and the Hradec Králové motorway. This was approved by Prague’s deputies on Thursday. It is not clear when the completion of the circuit will begin. The investor is the state through the Directorate of Roads and Motorways (ŘSD), which, according to Deputy Mayor Adam Scheinherr, should buy the neighboring land under construction itself next year.
Of the total land swap that the city will buy, 77,930 square meters are owned by Xaverov trade and 38,566 square meters belong to Agrotrade. According to the SeznamZpravy.cz server, the family is owned by the family of the Minister of Agriculture, Miroslav Toman.
The land that the city will buy has a total of 116,496 square meters. Based on memoranda with the Ministry of Transport, the city took care of the purchase of belts around the circuit, which are to serve to protect the population. In the case of Běchovice, the residential development has a noise-protected rampart 30 to 40 meters high.
“I think we are buying up the most important land we have been talking about for several years,” said Scheinherr. He added that the transaction will have the city bought about half of the package needed for green belts. “The RSD should then proceed with the purchase of their parts, which are located directly under the building. This should happen in the first quarter of next year, “added the deputy.
He added that in order to build value near Běchovice, the city may use the land heavily in the future construction of the metro line D or the inner ring road. “The team would save on landfill for these buildings, which is also a big mood,” he said.
It is not clear when the construction of the Prague ring road will begin. The building will receive a positive opinion in 2019 when assessing the impact on the environment, according to Scheinherr’s previous statement, the project has not moved since. “Not a single piece of land was bought, the building does not have a zoning decision and the whole of Prague pays for it,” he said recently.
Section 511 measures over 12 days and four level crossings are planned on it. The construction, which will connect both highways, also includes two tunnels. The entire Prague ring road measures about 80 times, now about half are in operation.
