Pinzgau: One ski pass for three areas
tourism
The Pinzgau ski areas Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Leogang-Fieberbrunn and Schmittenhöhe-Kitzsteinhorn-Saalbach continue their card network. With the “Alpin Card” several ski cards are valid in the three areas.
At the ticket level, the ski areas have moved closer together. However, the piste connection between Saalbach and Schmitten WILL be postponed until next year due to lack of money. After the Corona winters of the last two years there is a lack of funds.
For the operator of the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski area and the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See, there is therefore no direct piste connection.
Snow-making facilities are to be expanded
After lockdowns and problems with the natural snow, we have been working on a snowmaking facility over the past few months, which is now to be further developed. There has been a positive building permit for a lift system for a year, but there is now no money, says Isabella Dschulnigg-Geissler from the Saalbacher Bergbahnen.
Now we hope for a good season, then next autumn the project also to be able to. However, there is still no corona ordinance for the start of the season.
