PayiQ cooperates with Perille.fi to provide a ticket service
The account-based ticket sales service platform PayiQ has collaborated with the Finnish Perille.fi travel ticket service so that customers can compare prices, check schedules and buy tickets from a single mobile application.
In the first phase of the cooperation, Perille sells train and bus tickets through the PayiQ Tickets mobile application.
PayiQ’s mobile public transport application is already in use in about 20 Finnish cities. The PayiQ Tickets app allows users to purchase tickets from all PayiQ partners without having to download a separate app for each city. Adding a destination service saves customers time by helping them find the right trip and allowing them to buy tickets easily.
Perille’s service also includes cross-border bus connections between Helsinki and St. Petersburg, Finland this autumn. As a result of combining the two services, passengers can purchase all the tickets they need through a single app. The trip between Turku, Finland and St. Petersburg includes Föl’s local bus ticket, VR train ticket to Helsinki and Lux Express bus ticket to St. Petersburg.
“Perille is very excited about this collaboration with PayiQ,” said Vesa Heikkinen, CEO of Mobility Services. “A comprehensive range of long-distance journeys and bus and train ticket travel chains, combined with PayiQ’s current customer base and extensive local traffic ticket, brings almost all of Finland’s public transport to one application. We believe that the bundled service is particularly attractive to those large consumers of public transport who have occasional needs for long-distance travel but who do not want to download another app or sign up for another service. “
PayiQ’s CEO Pirkka Lankinen said: “We are glad that we have Perille.fi long-distance travel tickets at our service. We already have a wide selection of local transport tickets to several cities, and now you can also buy intercity trips with the same app. PayiQ has also been tasked with providing ticketing solutions for the entire travel chain, and this collaboration brings us closer to our goal. “
