Health, a precious asset for the country
Public health is one of the most precious assets of our country. Precisely in these times of pandemic, we realized what it meant to have a hospital for our small Republic, completely dedicated to the 33,000 citizens and residents, who, without new inconveniences and delays in performance, were however able to find an answer to their own needs. In recent months, however, rather than by the value of the services offered, public opinion has been repeatedly solicited by issues concerning the leadership of the ISS, some conflicts, more or less evident conflicts, attributions of reciprocal responsibility, which have helped little to fully understand the real problems to be solved.
The Christian Democratic Party of San Marino considers it essential to reiterate that an accurate analysis of the situation would be necessary also starting from the recently carried out Audit report, from the reflections that emerged from the former Director General and from the other members of the Executive Committee, starting a constructive comparison with their hearing as soon as possible in the Health Council Commission. Each solution, in fact, must be dictated not by partisan positions but by choices as much as possible to use, on a health model that is really useful for our country – which favors good relations between health professionals and the enhancement of their work – in the basis on which the new state hospital will also have to be structured.
This sharing will be for the purpose of appointing the new important also director general of the ISS, to whom they will be indicated as the objectives to be achieved in the short and term, precisely in order to resolve as soon as possible the critical issues that have also emerged from the emergencies of recent months, among the such as the basic medicine service, and the findings made by the control bodies. Democrazia Cristiana intends to reiterate that among these addresses the fact that our hospital will have to maintain its management autonomy must be absolutely reaffirmed, enhanced by the network of collaborations with the hospitals and services of the Emilia Romagna and Marchigiano health system and strengthened through the implementation of collaborations already active with other important Italian health structures, including the Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome. The Christian Democratic Party of San Marino assures citizens that, as for any other issue of important importance, it will make full efforts to find the best solutions to guarantee our country an adequate health service and structure, guaranteeing a public health system for every citizen. capable of responding to the care needs of each patient.
