Morières-lès-Avignon: cleaning operation with the badminton club
A few days ago, the Moriéroise badminton sports association is now organizing an operation to clean up nature as part of World Cleanup Day and more particularly the area around Anne Frank college and the gymnasium.
The World Cleanup Day aims to bring together the largest number of volunteers in order to promote this day as being festive, positive, educational, a way of seeing things differently to change behavior. Because we are all concerned by the degradation of our environment, this movement belongs to all actors: schools, associations, companies and citizens to act by participating in the World Day for cleaning up our planet.
The president of the local club had therefore subscribed to the operation for the second year. The members of the club, and many of the Moriérois came with their families to lend a hand. Without forgetting the deputy of Vaucluse Souad Zitouni, who also put on the gloves to help the volunteers. They received a visit from Grégoire Souque the mayor of Morières as well as the sports assistant who came to support the action.
Note that this year, there was less waste than last year on the same date: a hope for all.
