The Palio of the Maritime Republics is back. Suspended for two years due to a pandemic, the galleon regatta will take place this year for the first time in the winter season. Date confirmed by the Palio Committee, which met in recent days. The challenge will take place in the waters of the port of Genoa on 19 December, preceded by the historical parade on Saturday 18 December. The Genoese committee offered to organize the demonstration in an unusual period. Also to be able to recover during the 2022 season the race canceled this year in Amalfi, again for pandemic reasons. In June another Galleon regatta, most likely in Pisa, at the end of September the third challenge in Amalfi.
