Fitness clubs in Russia have offered an alternative to QR codes: Society: Russia: Lenta.ru
The Association of Fitness Industry Operators (AOFI) has proposed replacing the QR code system in some Russian alternative regions with restrictive measures. It is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the association.
As noted in the AOFI, in Australia, in 13 regions, resolutions on visiting fitness clubs by QR codes come into force, in some other regions there are restrictions on joining in November. As a result, each separate region can incur from 25 to 200 million rubles, and fitness clubs lose 80-90 percent of traffic and revenue. After the bans are removed, traffic is restored up to 30 percent.
The association is proposing to replace the QR code system with alternative measures. They believe that the maximum possible vaccination of citizens is possible, including 80-100 percent vaccination of employees or vaccination groups on the territory of the clubs. In addition, AOFI proposed to set restrictions on the loading of fitness users, reduce the duration of programs, introduce discounts and bonuses to attract visitors.
Earlier it was reported that the authorities of the Sverdlovsk region from November 8 will introduce a system of QR codes with confirmation of vaccination against coronavirus for visiting cultural institutions, sanatoriums and recreation centers. The rule will apply to museums, libraries, exhibition centers and sports venues. Other Russian regions against the background of an increase in the incidence of coronavirus infection also started impose restrictions.
