Euroleague, third success in a row for Milan
L’Olimpia Milan is the only Italian club that has access toEuroleague, the highest European competition. He closed last season with access to Final four, returning to the great glories of a distant past where the continent dominated. This year after losing the Italian basketball Super Cup to rivals from the Virtus Bologna, is currently undefeated both in the league and in the Euroleague. Today he beat the Maccabi Tel Aviv 83 – 72, but the gap was probably even wider than the eleven points of difference, which are already many. The Greek Mitoglu, Delaney, the Italian Melli, Hall immediately dug the furrow, but it was the whole team who won, led by the always excellent coach Messina. The coach has set up an excellent defense, which often gives rise to easy points. There were drops in tension that the coach did not like but he didn’t make a drama, because on Friday Milan will face the reigning European champions of Efes Istanbul and therefore given the good performance of the game, a drop in tension was foreseeable to reach the maximum to the next challenge. The Turkish club lost today by two points against Villeurbanne and therefore the French present themselves to the match against Milan hungry for revenge, but without the aura of unbeatenness. Milan seems to be able to aspire to great goals, because it has an exceptional and experienced coach, an excellent team and many individuals. The path taken seems to be the right one, you can dream but in moderation.
