Tenth system organizes chocolate collection campaign of Bihar State Caregivers Association – with video
Debrecen – Many organizations and institutions have joined the charity initiative. There will be opportunities to collect sweets for the child in several parts of the city.
The sweets offered at the Bihar State Caregivers Association’s chocolate collection campaign are always handed over in December. Last year, 3,500 Santa packs were assembled from these.
The collection is now being organized 10. more than once. With the action we want to draw attention to the children who live in residential homes, with foster parents.
– The chocolate collection campaign also helps children who live in poor family conditions. This year, too, we want to get across the border to children in state care living in Partium. We will distribute about 800 Santa Claus packages here, said Lajos Buzás, President of the Bihar State Caregivers Association.
So far, 18 schools have indicated that they want to join the action. From some institutions, the children also visited Tuesday’s events and had already thrown the candies in the collection box.
Deputy Mayor Diana Wide said about the action: this way, the children not only get chocolate but also love.
– There are not many associations in Debrecen that deal with children in state care, so we support and help them in their work. The children expect love and togetherness from us, so we are all here to help them with that, the deputy mayor said.
At the briefing, László Pósán thanked the supporters for supporting the noble cause. At the same time, the Member of Parliament draws the children’s attention so that they do not forget about brushing their teeth after chocolate has been removed.
The sweets can be thrown in the collection boxes at the Csapó Street shopping center, the Mathias Corvinus Collegium in the center of Debrecen, the Golden Bull and several parts of the city. The offers are expected by the organizers until December 5.
