San Marino: British parliamentarians visiting the Titano – Emilia-Romagna

Collaboration on post-Brexit issues of mutual interest started

(ANSA) – ROME, OCTOBER 12 – The members of the House of Commons who are visiting the Republic of San Marino at the Kingdom-San Marino Interparliamentary Friendship Group.

The five UK MEPs from all parliamentary groups are led by the Friendship Group chairman, the Hon. Andrew Rosindell. Representatives of the UK economic and financial community will also be in the delegation, “confirming the attention and willingness to strengthen bilateral collaboration at the broadest institutional level”.

The British parliamentarians were received by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Luca Beccari, with whom they focused on the numerous areas of existing collaboration, at bilateral and multilateral level. Exchanges in the health, commercial, tourism, cultural and financial fields at the center of the talks with Beccari as well as the interest in consulting common paths in Europe, “with the concrete aim of opening up to a constant and fruitful dialogue, at parliamentary and institutional level, in able to implement strategic cooperation to effectively relaunch the link between the United Kingdom and the Republic of San Marino “. The open confrontation between the two countries was confirmed in the ability to advance their respective political and economic agendas in the current post-Brexit era. Rosindell then recalled “the common feeling of love for the freedom of the two countries and the willingness to promote a significant acceleration towards new cooperation projects”.
