Portugal once again thrashed in the European women’s roller hockey championship, now France, by 9-1, in the second round of the tournament that takes place at the Pavilhão Municipal do Luso, in Mealhada, Aveiro.
After the 11-0 over England, on their debut, the Portuguese once again showed clear superiority, in a challenge that, at half-time, they were already leading by 5-1.
Marlene Sousa, at 39 seconds, ended prematurely with an eventual Gallic resistance, in a strong Portuguese start, which had another goal from her five minutes in, seconds after Ana Catarina had scored the second.
Maria Sofia Silva made it 4-0, in the 14th minute, France reduced it by Vanessa Daribo, in the 20th minute, however, three minutes later, the Portuguese replaced the advantage (5-1): in the 35th, it made the 6-1, in a second time less intense of the team of quinas.
Ana Catarina, Marlene Sousa and Raquel Santos would extend the result to 9-1 final.
