PISA – Professional updating is back in attendance: an afternoon of in-depth study for all the Doctors on
diagnostic-therapeutic pathways in cardiology, this afternoon at the Officine Garibaldi, organized by the Order of Surgeons and Dentists of the Province of Pisa (president Giuseppe Figlini, course coordinator Giampaolo Bresci, vice president of the Order) in collaboration with the Toscana Gabriele Monastero Foundation.
To the cardiologist of the Monasterio (Roberta Poletti, Michele Emdin, Andrea Barison, Giuseppe Vergaro, Valentina Spini, Claudio Passino, Andrea Rossi, Iacopo Fabiani, Alessandro Valleggi, Emilio Pasanisi, Luigi Pastormerlo) the task of deepening the themes of diagnosis and of treatment from the cardiovascular diseases, in the light of the most innovative guidelines and process latest.
The topics covered concern the personalized medicine, with particular attention to women and the elderly, who often need differentiated and targeted treatments, hereditary diseases (channelopathies such as Brugada syndrome and cardiomyopathies), early diagnosis and therapy of complications related to oncological treatments, the risk of thromboembolism linked to the patency of the foramen ovale, and the therapeutic diagnostic framework of cardiac amyloidosis and structural intervention on the mitral and aorta in the elderly.
