Toulouse: The silk threads of Lucie and Nastassia
Two friends founded Setaa, SARL which made 100% silk hair accessories in Verfeil. An eco-responsible creation in line with their environmental values.
They are friends and both have an ecological conscience. Lucie Fernandez-Canal, stylist, and Nastassia Estanove, accustomed to salons, especially that of Creative Leisure in Toulouse, wanted to exercise an activity that makes sense. Last April, they united their know-how and founded, Setaa, an SARL that looks like them around the creation of articles for skin and hair 100% silk: scrunchie, turban, scarves, headbands, silk scarf for bandana, but also pillows, etc. “This eco-responsible, creative activity, respectful of nature and life, espouses our values”, assures the duo. Travelers, especially in Africa, Lucie and Nastassia were inspired by this culture and its traditions, where many women wear the satin turban with many virtues, to take care of their hair. Handmade items designed in the South of France, dyed with a natural coloring made from plants and flowers found in nature.
The Little Girls Models
“Made from animal fibers, silk has multiple virtues: full of amino acids, it increases the body’s natural hydration and regenerates the hair. Silk is also a hypoallergenic and thermoregulatory material (which retains heat). It is not for nothing that the mythical actress, Marylin Monroe slept in silk sheets. Men are also very fond of this material ”. Pushing the adventure even further, the two friends gave their articles the first names of the Little Girls Models, heroines of the Countess de Ségur’s novel: Madeleine and Camille, buried in the cemetery of Verfeil.
