Vasily Pavlov announced his dismissal in Instagram-the academy account on Sunday, October 10th. The reason he called disagreement with the order of the regional Ministry of Health, according to which the building of the academy was to be transferred to a hospital for patients with COVID-19. According to the rector of the IAS, the termination of the employment contract was to take place on October 11.
The rector of the Russian university clarified that they wanted to transfer the building of the dormitory of the academy in Chapaevo to the hospital for the Khangalassky regional hospital.
“The building is completely transferred under the control of the Ministry of Health of the Republic. I could not sign such a paper. After all, this means the closure of our institution “, – declared he published “News of Yakutia”.
In turn, the head of the republic Nikolaev said that “all decisions” on Pavlov should be canceled.
