Vladivostok. October 11. INTERFAX – FAR EAST – The Ministry of Health of the Primorsky Territory is proposing additional restrictive measures in connection with the threat of the fourth wave of COVID-19, the press service of the regional government said on Monday.
“To curb the avalanche increase in the incidence during the autumn period, scheduled maintenance in medical institutions, the Ministry of Health proposes to introduce a mandatory presentation of a vaccination certificate, a QR code on the vaccination passed or a certificate of a past illness when visiting entertainment establishments,” Anastasia, the press service of the Minister of Health of Primorye, quotes Khudchenko.
According to her, ready-made restrictions are associated with a stable high daily forecast of coronavirus infected Primorye and Rospotrebnadzor of an increase in the incidence.
The Governor of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako instructed the responsible departments by the end of the week to form a package of documents for the preparation of a resolution of the regional government. The departments will work out options for issuing certificates to those who had recovered less than six months ago without going to the clinic for them.
As reported, according to the territorial administration of Rospnadzor, a tense situation with COVID-19 remains in the region. More than 200 new cases are identified daily. At the same time, the rates of vaccination remain low, which does not allow the formation of herd immunity. At the moment, 374.5 thousand people were vaccinated twice, this is 41.5% of the plan. Also, Rospotrebnadzor in Primorye introduces mandatory vaccination against COVID-19 for a number of categories of citizens. Among them are those working in trade, services, transport and a number of others.
