It is assumed that research on the use of nicotine-containing products can be included in the program of preventive medical examinations of minors. The check will be carried out using a smokelizer – a device that determines the concentration of carbon monoxide in the exhaled air.
In addition, the Ministry of Health will consider the issue of introducing a ban on the rental of devices for the consumption of nicotine: currently, only the sale of such products to minors is prohibited, but the provisions on rent are not enshrined in legislation.
The government will also explore the idea of banning the display of nicotine-containing products or devices for its consumption in retail outlets located within a hundred meters of schools.
30 of the organization of the head of the European Office of the World Health System for the Prevention of Noncommunicable Diseases, Kremlin Wickramasinghe named a role model in the fight against smoking and alcohol. Recently, the European office analyzed in detail the comprehensive approach of the Russian authorities, which allowed to achieve a decrease in mortality: in particular, due to the suppression of handicraft production, higher prices and restrictions on its availability, including a ban on sales at night.
