Néolithe turns your waste into stone!
Néolithe is in the spotlight today on Radio Monaco Feel Good! While the World Conservation Congress took place last September, Florent Favier unearthed the most beautiful innovations in favor of the planet. For this, he had organized in parallel the Green Solutions Days with the school of the transition School of Green Management. Supported by highly motivated students, Florent identified virtuous projects to reduce our impact on the environment, waste or in favor of biodiversity.
SMEs, startups, associations and institutions participated in this meeting with more than 70 registered projects.
Florent Favier’s green selection
First spotlight on “Vegetables and Company”. This company wants to put kitchen gardens and vegetables at the center of businesses by using their land. Another objective: to bring workers closer to quality food.
Then zoom on IPSAGO, founded by Thibaut Venezia. IPSAGO recovers downgraded fruits and vegetables and turns them into healthy appetizer crackers. They are also ecological since they are made from spent grain flour. It is the remainder of barley used to make beer and which is now waste!
The Marseille startup ZEI helps companies improve their environmental footprint. Not to mention the Nature Check: a real boost for the most modest households to buy quality fruit and vegetables.
Our favorite: Neolith
Among the 70 projects presented during the Green Solutions Days, there was also Néolithe. A company co-founded by Nicolas Cruaud. Néolithe transforms waste into stone, aggregates that can be used in the construction industry. A major advance when we know that today 30 million tonnes of waste are buried or incinerated in France. In addition, 40 million pellets are used each year in France for construction. Néolithe has therefore chosen to give a second life to non-recyclable waste!
