In the Salzburg district of Itzling there was a police emergency call on Sunday evening. At 9:00 p.m., a 51-year-old called the police that her husband wanted to kill her.
Woman is said to have been strangled and threatened
There was a verbal argument. According to the woman, it then escalated. Her 49-year-old husband strangled her. She is said to have freed herself and announced that she would die to call the police. The husband then threatened his wife with killing. From his point of view, the verbal argument remained. He never attacked or threatened his wife. According to the police, the woman complained of pain and had no visible injuries. The reason for the dispute is said to have been alcohol consumption.
The man is being released for attempted assault and dangerous threats. A ban on entering and approaching the 49-year-old was pronounced. The man is not allowed to approach the apartment.
