In Binic-Étables, the first edition of Bouzille de Fous recorded 1,550 admissions
With 1,550 paid entries recorded, the Nave D Fous and Manue Mével, from Dakota tattoo, are delighted with the “Nice success” that the first edition of Bouzille de Fous encountered, an event mixing tattoo and music.
“We had good feedback from the public, but also from guest music groups”, underlines Ludovic Lorre, artistic director of the Nef D Fous. Besides, Sunday evening, Seb Blanchais, singer and frontman of Crocodile Boogie, thanked the organizers during his concert of “This meeting on a human scale. We are a long way from the big tattoo conventions ”.
Same story for tattooists and tattooists present like Koopa. “Nice welcome, nice team, top format describes the old and the new school of tattoo artists”, appreciate the tattoo artist from Biarritz (Pyrénées-Atlantiques).
A mixed audience
Concerning the public, “It was mixed, notes Sabine Fourmeaux, secretary of the Nef D Fous. Festival Like the Binic Folks Blues. Bouzille de Fous brings together young and old, families and even a wedding outing. We felt the public happy to be there, just like the volunteers. “
On the budget side, in the amount of € 17,000 (artistic, technical, security fees, etc.), “It is balanced thanks in particular to paid admissions and seat rights”.
What about a second edition in 2022? “It is still too early to talk about it. But on thinking about it intensively ”, answer Ludovic Lorre and Manue Mével.
Next events organized by the Nef D Fous: Saturday, November 13, at the Labo, in Dinan, with the Crème Brûlée label. And mid-December, for the release of Maxwell Farrington’s solo album, co-produced with the Beast Records and Crème Brûlée labels.
