discover the winners of the Cinespaña festival
The 26th edition of the Cinespaña festival has just ended. It was held from October 1 to 10, 2021 in Toulouse. During these ten days, the Spanish cinema was once again invited in the dark rooms of the pink city. Cinephiles and curious people were able to discover or rediscover many films at the ABC, the Cinémathèque, the ENSAV, Gaumont or even at the American Cosmograph. This year, the festival program was rich and varied. Two thematic cycles, one of which revolves around time distortion films and the other on Portuguese culture, were proposed.
The people of Toulouse were also able to attend a best-of of the ten best films of the last decade. As is usually the case, three official competitions were also organized within the framework of the festival: fiction, documentaries and new filmmakers. The winners of this 26th edition were unveiled this weekend. In all, nine feature films, eight for the new filmmakers category and seven documentaries were in competition. The various juries delivered their verdict this Saturday.
